Prime age-wise, but yes injuries have had a major affect on his career. Although I would argue he was still a top 5 player in the league the first year they lost to the Mavericks.
He's still a top 15 player in the league though.

Hahaha! It's funny how all of these hair styles he's changed through have happened after the trade.

I'm puzzled as to why Sacramento traded Thomas Robinson. The trade goes likes this, Thomas Robinson to Houston, Houston sent Patrick Patterson, Toney Douglas and Cole Aldrich to Sacramento. In a separate deal, Houston sent Marcus Morris to Phoenix for a 2013 second-round draft pick.
They trade away a young PF that was blocked by Jason Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins. As the biggest piece in return they get a slightly older starting PF that can be blocked by the same two guys. Makes perfect sense for a terribly crappy organization ....

So David Stern blocks the CP3 to the Lakers trade on "basketball reasons", but this atrociously bad trade is approved? Unless this is all part of Stern's plan to devalue the Kings so badly that the Seattle group will have no interest. What's next, DeMarcus Cousins for Jeff Green?

Funny thing is the trades that never happened, Josh Smith, Gasol, Dwight Howard are far more interesting that the trades that did.

I thought that Crawford for Barbosa trade was illegal (trading a player on injured reserve), but Jason Collins was also included in the deal. Didn't expect much action and didn't get much. No trades today will matter even remotely.

File this one under "Predictable" and "Pop is the ####ing man". It is from Stephen A., but this sounds pretty believeable.
Quote:
Then this past weekend, at All-Star weekend—I haven’t seen anyone report it, so I guess I’ll be the first.
Coach Gregg Popovich dropped a few f-bombs in Dwight Howard’s direction, during All-Star break. Now, why is that, guys? Because, during the timeout, Gregg Popovich drew up a play for Dwight Howard in the game…except when it was time to run the play, Dwight Howard wasn’t in the game, wasn’t paying attention, was on the bench in his warm ups chillin' out, socializing with folks, and Gregg Popovich almost went ballistic, and basically was cussing at him; according to numerous people I spoke to since this weekend.
So, all of that speaks to the focus, or lack there of, that the Kobe Bryants and others have alluded to with their comments over the last few months. You can’t have something like that. It’s an All-Star game and you have Gregg Popovich upset at you.

While I've turned a 180 on Dwight in the past couple years, and really loathe his idiot attitude, I find that story a little hard to believe. The game was televised, no? So during a timeout, they draw up a play, and the players hit the court, but they're short handed because Dwight's on the bench chatting? Wouldn't have the cameras picked up on this (that they're one man short), or did rip off their tearaways and get the the game? Something doesn't add up, but the attitude thing fits the bill.
