What's wrong with that? All 3 forwards should've taken the puck from Robias or his body and had a 3-1 or 2-0 on the Dallas net. They all looked weak and foolish standing there as Robias continues down and assists on the dagger 3-1 goal. That's a good second look at a critical play in this game, no matter the perception of how the Flames played in the second period.

Scuderi should have cleared Toews out on that goal.

Because he's going to start tomorrow I'd imagine.

I'll tell you what, Kipper may not have been sharp to start the season, but I sure have a whole new appreciation for him now - his positioning, movement in the crease, rebound control, recovery during a scramble, etc are all so superior to anything we've seen in the Flames net since he's been injured.

One of Ramo, Ortio, Taylor, et al better work out because I'm not looking forward to the days that resemble those days between Vernon and Kipper.

I wouldn't say he sucks by any means. But he's definitely not the player he once was. He used to be one of those guys that struck fear into his opponents, but those days are long gone. I still love the guy, but it's time for him to move on. If he can take Tanguay with him, that would be fantastic. Nothing is going to change with this team until this core is shipped out of town.

I have never seen a team give up goals in bunches like these clowns do. One goal always seems to equal three or four in the next 10-15 minutes. It's just unreal how soft this organization has become.

This is only a 48 game season, but it's already starting to feel like a 96 game season. Not sure what I expected. Sigh.

Maybe if the Flames start converging on the Dallas net and slot area they might turn this game around.
Of course that requires a bit of willing and strength.
