This core is just way too old. Instead of attacking the net and attacking the opposition with speed, they all like to slow the play down because they are no longer capable of going hard anymore.

I found it funny that Tanguay was praising Brodie net drive for the OT goal against Columbus and saying how important that it, well then maybe more of the Flames forwards should be doing that instead of slowing the play down and using drop passes everywhere.

It's crazy that the one guy who understands the importance of a net drive is a young defenceman.

When Cammy, Iggy, Glencross, Tanguay are on the ice, it's always the same thing, always trying to be the Harlem Globetrotters.

Brutal period. It's astonishing how fragile this team becomes when they get a lead. Everytime it happens, you can see it coming: our opponent cranks up the energy and pushes back, almost always resulting in multiple goals against in quick succession as the Flames seemingly throw in the towel and start running around like chickens with their heads cut off in their own zone. Being a fan of this team is beyond frustrating.

Don't think Getzlaf is going anywhere is if Perry does leave he will end up out east possibly in Ottawa or even the Leafs of they don't mess up and trade for Luongo.

Bahaha...they're analyzing the poor forecheck? The one play where we didn't do exactly what they wanted to? Oh sports net... I want to give you nickel so you can pay a real analyst.

I'm excited to see Danny tomorrow. Just imagine if he stands on his head like he does in Abby. He'd become the new savior.

If Feaster does nothing at the trade deadline again then i might have to take a break fron the FOI section.

The Dallas defense can't move the Flames from the front of the net either, that's how Cammi scored with Glencross standing right there.

Flames just aren't going to the net often enough.

That's not an excuse, really. Just a reason.

Might as well let him have the start tomorrow. He is going to get lit up like a Roman candle.

Does this mean Karlson is worse than MacD or Irving? I don't know. But the quality displayed in goaltending in the last few games are troublesome to watch. Put Taylor in!

I predict he's gonna do well in his first game. But I don't think it will last long.

I'm not even upset. I'm so used to this stuff the past few years that I've slowly become numb, until I see some serious changes I don't see that changing.

Nothing against the sentiment Pierre, but good grief, has this what this season has come to now? Nothing left to get excited about but to hope Danny Taylor might play well. Geeze, Feaster and crew really missed the boat with figuring out what this team could do

Or is the Stars just covering that up well enough?

Mistakes happen. That's generally how goals against occur. Because someone didn't do what they we're suppose to do. If it was just as simple as getting players to the net to score goals, every team in the NHL would be potting goals left right and centre for every game.
