Default OOT-Feb 17th-Hockey Day in America(6 games)

Triple header on NBC

Pittsburgh @ Buffalo

-Pittsburgh got up 2-0 very early on goals by Dupuis and Crosby. Hodgson cut the lead in half to make it 2-1 after 1

Los Angeles @ Chicago

-Chicago looks to remain the only team without a loss in regulation and the Kings hope they can start getting back in the win column as they have struggled early on

Washington @ Rangers

-Washington is rolling a bit right now winning and our looking for there 4th straight win.

Boston @ Winnipeg

-Boston is on a 2 game losing streak and will look to end that today.

Detroit @ Minnesota

-both teams look to end 2 game losing streaks. Wild blew a lead last time out against Colorado and lost in the shoot out

St Louis @ Vancouver

- a tough test for the Canucks as they look to get back in the W column. Blues hold the leagues best PP and the Canucks PK has struggled. Kesler will hopefully help the PK improve as the season goes on.

Minnesota has called up Zucker and Larsson, so that's potentially two more rookies in the lineup. Wouldn't surprise me if Zucker made an immediate impact, but you never know.

I do like that they're willing to sit veterans who underperform and try out young players in big roles.

McCormick and Glass got in a fight, and McCormick got Glass's jersey up over his head, and instead of pummeling him, he kept hold of him and let him get his jersey down before going back to fighting. That's what I like to see in hockey!

This Pittsburgh and Buffalo game is awesome. Malkin, Crosby, and Neal on the same line is so fun to watch. It's like an Olympics line.

Great action late in BUF PIT game before Martin scores from point to put the Pens up 4-3 with 2:04 left.

And Crosby now takes over the scoring lead in the league.

Edit: Or not, haha. Close though!

Just a matter of time before that happens.

The 'Hawk 4th line Frolik/Kruger/Bollig have dominated every shift they've had so far...Seabrook is the beneficiary of their hard work and dominance...1-0 in the 1st

Too many men penalty and Toews slops a PP goal in as a result...2-0 halfway through the 1st

Seabrook just took a bomb to the twig and berries, he appeared to be in alot of discomfort and went straight to the dressing room

Was certainly a cup check on Seabs...ouch!

On Seab's goal...I thought the 'Hawks got away with a penalty...Bollig, who was screening Quick, pushed Quick's dropped stick further away from him...I can't quote page and section, but I do believe that that's a penalty that can be called, and perhaps, should have been.

I do believe that is a penalty.

Seabrook is back, but looks like Hjalmarson was in some difficulty

Is there any chance the Kings can Sutter if they continue to play this bad all year long? I'd say it's pretty implausible, but man they are terrible at the moment.

Good thing they have the slump busting Flames coming up soon

lol, didn't realize Crawford was out.

Guess who's backing up Emery today?

I was wondering why he didn't start for the Hogs against the Heat the other day.

I don't think Darryl Sutter is going anywhere. But his team must have the worst Cup hangover of all time they look like they don't want to be on the ice. No compete at all.
