I sincerely hope this line has a monster game vs. Dallas. Comeau with a goal and two assists! I'd love to see the CP flip-flop afterwards.

If it happens I'm getting a lottery ticket for wednesday's draw. And I'll eat a pube.

This is a ploy to piss Iggy off so much that he will waive his no trade clause to get the heck out of dodge. Comeau ........Really????????

Man, I'm an optimistic fella, but you just have to feel for Jarome a tiny bit here. Poor guy's found himself lined up next to the likes of Eric Nystrom, David Moss, and now Blake Comeau in the past few years (maybe Nigel Dawes, too?). I'm not a Comeau hater, but I certainly can't get myself all that excited about a Glenny-Comeau-Iggy line.

I think if Comeau drives to the net and parks himself in front it could potentially help Jarome and Glencross. It won't help on rushes or anything, but he is a big body to park out front.

I promise you and everyone else if Comeau has a good game I most certainly will not flip flop on my opinion of him. He needs to be shipped off to Siberia.

Before evryone freaks out remember Iggy's best year was with Conroy and McAmmond. When that line was put together everyone thought the same thing. Lets see what happens.

My decision to attend the Hitmen vs Pats game is looking much better.

Maybe this is how Hartley likes to test his players. If Comeau does not score on his first line C minutes they can put him on waivers or release him. Look it happens to Irving and Jones. The other day Hartley was giving Irving a good review on the game against Dallas saying you cannot blame him on those soft goals. Then after Irving gave up a couple goals, he pulled him and then got sent to Abby. Jonesy was put as a first shooter on the shootout. He did not score and Flames lost to Minny... a few games later he was put on waiver...

Hmmm... i think i am just trying to put a positive spin on this Comeau centring Iggy's line. If he scores a hat trick or even score a goal and we win...it's good.. if he suck Feaster will finally realize it is time to eat his pride and get rid of Comeau...it's a win-win, right?

“What you see is what you get, we’re going to try Coms at center,” Hartley said. “We have a shortage at center, plain and simple. He’s a hard worker. We’re trying to bring grit and passion to our lineup."
Um, does anyone else see a problem with putting Jones on waivers then?

I just don't get this team.

I have to convince myself that Feaster is purposely trying to lose to get a high draft pick. It's the only way I'll keep my sanity in the face of this sheer stupidity.

haha it's not even just the part you bolded. The whole statement sounds ridiculous after they just waived Jones.

Blake Comeau, who has been playing on the wing this season, will be shuffled over to centre ice to play in between Jarome Iginla and Curtis Glencross.
"It's a great challenge for Blake Comeau because he's worked very hard since the start of the year," Hartley explained. "I feel that he's very responsible on the ice. He wants to learn the game in the three zones, on both sides of the puck.
"We want to build on players like Blake Comeau. He's a solid competitor for us and I think it's a nice challenge for him."

Considering feaster wanted Comeau for 2 years and now that comment by Hartely, not hard to imagine Comeau being re-signed.

This season is getting stranger and stranger.... how can you explain the Toronto Maple Leafs being a playoff spot right now. Now you hear Bob Harley saying he wants to build on players like Blake Comeau????? aaaaahhhh what's next?

Just going to try and hold back on the Comeau bash until after the game.

Chances are I'll probably spontaneous combust though from his poor play.
