People can blame the goaltenders but it's pretty common knowledge that if you leave your backup goaltender high and dry on numerous occasions that the red light will get lit up often. Just ask the Stars after letting the Flames run run roughshod over them in the defensive zone Wednesday.

Exactly. And Iginla has been as slow as ever to get going, but look at who he is being paired with...not a recipe for success to use guys in unnatural positions, especially when strength is often matched against strength with the top lines.

And it gets worse today with Comeau.

Also, at the beginning of the season, I read an article where Tanguay was talking about how he was going to be playing in the middle (I think I may have posted it as well), and he did not sound confident at all....made me very nervous about having him start the season as the first-line centre.

If a player is placed on waivers on a Saturday they don't officially clear until 10AM on Monday.

There was a lot of national news on the comments made by Warrener and the team responds in placing Iginla in position to fail. I don't get it especially on the road where the Stars are going to be able to put out a line they feel will be able to expose Comeau playing center. Jarome deserves better than this.

Could this move of waiving a natural center and putting yet another winger down the middle be a message to Feaster (or above) that we do not have NHL calibre centers and have to be prepared to move key parts to get some?

This was rumoured under BS as well.
