Irving craps the bed but our 80's Oilers offence saves his ass.
8-1 Flames.

I have a bad attitude towards the Flames because they've been a bad team.

(also, last game I said they'd get beat badly they actually won. It might be that I expect a bad results so I'm not disapointed)
"Jamie Benn will expose the Flames for what they are" or something like that.

You realize you're basically the foil of a fanboy in negativity

only 1 regulation loss in the month of Feb thus far. Hopefully the flames can keep that going.

Go Flames!

Always hopeful.

But since a win would put them above .500, get them into the palyoff picture, generate credibility for beating another good team, and probably even generate a bit of optimism among Flames fans, I expect that they will find a way to disappoint us.

Brodie and Wides have 1 goal 1 assists nights. Iggy pots 2 and Cammy and Cervenka also get in on the action. 6-3 Flames.

Irving meets the challenge head on and plays great. Team goon Alex Tanguay takes another penalty and st louis scores their only goal late in the third.

3-1 flames.

Glencross (pp tip)
Stempniak (battle in front)
Tanguay ( empty net).

Offense continues to roll and the D tightens up just enough to make Irving look serviceable compared to the other night. 4-1 win with the Flames really coming out strong on the forecheck and skating down the Blues.

Hudler and Cervenka continue to impress and account for 2 goals. Inginla still with a bee in his bonnet pots his second of the season and continues his physical play.

Should be a good fast game.

Yeah, this is what worries me as well. A win tonight would be meaningful.

Flames really need to have a good game. For the month of February there best 2 games have been when opposing teams were playing the 2nd game of a back to back. They also played well in Detroit.

Flames win 4-3 and take a huge step to accompishing their goal of making playoffs.
