Default NYR vs Panthers Round 2 Preview

Well this one should be interesting.....................Rangers had a tough first round match-up with the Senators most games were very close and the series went to 6 games before the Rangers won it. Panthers had a first round up match-up with the Penguins however the Penguins lost their starter and backup goalie just before the end of the season. This prooved to be to much to overcome and they were swept.

Key Factors
  • Panthers are a healthly team while Rangers have their #1 Center Todd White on the IR.
  • Can the Rangers defense contain the high scoring Panthers offense? This is the biggest question in the series. Panthers are the number 1 scoring team in the playoffs with a avg of 5.25.
  • Rangers have found peace with the SIM Gods can this continue......?
  • Who will be the better goalie Roloson or Nabakov?
  • Can the Rangers contain the Panthers PowerPlay? Panthers Power Play has a 22% effeciency in the Playoffs.

Panthers werent tested in Round 1...they will take the Rangers lightly and by the time they wake up it will be too late to overcome.

Rangers in 6.

Gonna be a great series, I think Roloson will outplay Nabby, but the Panthers skaters will outduel the Rangers players....Panthers in 6!!

Panthers Stay Positive

The Florida Panthers might be considered by some to be the underdog going into this series although they were the better team during the season. The Rangers took 3 out of 4 game during the season but that in itself is a little misleading.

Since the Panthers have played the Rangers, the Panthers have brough in some key players to not only boost the PP, but to provide great leadership and playoff experience.

The Panthers do not want to get into details at this time but they are really looking forward to this series.

To clarify the Panthers are the favorite as they are the higher placed team............ The Rangers are the underdog in this series.

I didn't say you were the Favorite, I said considered by some you are...especially according to some of the predictions AND the season series.

That's better clarification.
