Gotta give him a few more starts to see if he can actually get comfortable in net. He has the talent, it is obvious. But some of the goals he has let in since he came in have been soft serve weak. hoping he can settle in with a couple more starts.

Good win tonight, everything clicked. Except the PK, if we have a bad PK I can live with it if the effort is there everynight like we have seen against CHI,DAL etc.

He played center all game did he not?

Good win by the boys. Irving not as comfortable as on Monday, but was solid late in the third and started looking better. Have to think he gets the next start and the net is his till he loses.

Na Cervenka was in the middle between him and Hudler. Tanguay was on the wing for most of the Minnestoa game as well.

Good game. I would like to see Smith replace Butler and if Babchuk is ready for next game he can replace Sarich.

Assc Coach:
-Thinks Brodie has even more to offer and playing with Wideman has helped him calm down. Thinks he'll keep improving.
-You score goals when you put pucks to the net and crash the net
-Home points are very important and losing at home makes you fragile. We lost a couple despite playing well at home, but if we keep doing the right things at home the wins will come.
-He obviously didn't like that third goal, but he said that he thought Irving battled very hard in the 3rd. Just my speculation but it didn't sound like he was very pleased overall with the goaltending.

Hmm... he didn't really say too much. Not a great interview.

he was a -1 for most of the game because of the stupid Butler play on the first goal.

They seemed to be flipping back and forth. He also took the most faceoffs on the team.

Stajan with another hard working game. He's not big in stature, but he sure goes hard into the corners.

I've loved Sarich as a Flame since game 1, but he's done. Give him the Conroy retirement package and find somewhere in the organization for him other than skating through quicksand into his own end.

Tough game for Byron. I liked his energy more that what Street brought, so it was unfortunate that his night was done so early. I assume Horak gets the next ticket to Calgary.

I can excuse Sarich for any mistakes he makes, because at least he brings some physical play and can still set a tone from the D side of things. Butler on the other hand, I don't do this normally, but I really worry that a goal is going to be scored when he's on the ice. Not bringing anything to table this season.

Nice to get two points and a regulation win. Hopefully that continues on Friday. Go Flames!

When Backlund gets back, I think a top 6 of:
Hudler-Tanguay-Cervenka
Cammalleri-Backlund-Iggy

could be a very potent group.

Yeah I actually didn't have a huge problem with the D at all, Imo.

With a starting caliber goalie it's probably a 6-1 or 7-2 game. He was great against minny, but tonight that was just the reality of it.

I called it that Cammy was going to be huge for us tonight. Didn't expect 4 points and a hatty though. But there's no denying he's been ramping it up since before his injury.

Definitely start Joey mac one of the back to backs sun-mon. If Hartley tries to treat Irving like Kipper then he's being an idiot.

Just want to say that I CAN'T WAIT for Iginla to finally get on the scoring end of these plays and make the critics, and warrener eat it.

OH.. and the 3rd line was so boss tonight. Very impressed. Even with Stajan.
