What a turd.

Hard to disagree with what he said. I listened to the interview several times and he was pretty bang on.
I'm glad Iginla responded like he did tonight..

Tough to say when you consider names like Kharlamov, Lidstrom, and Selanne.

Look at Jamie McLennen... Noodles probably has tonnes of back room stories but instead does a good job of breaking down games and plays and not go on the air sharing BS stories.
I've felt this about Warrener for sometime since he's been on the air. Don't know how often I've expressed it but this has given me an opportunity to say it more.

I forget now, but last season he did something similar, Warrener I mean.

I doubt Iginla's play is him responding to anything said by anyone on the radio. I know where you're going with it but that's asinine.

Irving looks exactly where a goalie his age is in his career generally: working on consistency and hammering out the finer details of his play style.
Whether Irving's lateral movement and puck tracking when it starts hiding behind players improves enough to be a fixture in the NHL has yet to be seen, but he's got enough going at the very least to keep his NHL job for now until 27.

Duthie just said Jagr looks as good as he did 20 years ago? Not freakin likely.

The sky is also blue, he forgot to add that they got Macdonald because they had little to no faith in the existing backup and they are clearly unsure on the timeline for Kipper. Not exactly shocking that the Flames got an experienced backup when they had a combined 9 games and a period experience between the pipes after Kipper went down.

I don't think it's any coincidence that Iggy has had a scrap and a solid outing tonight. Darryl always knew that Iginla had to be prodded at times to get the best out of him and IMO Warrener should get some credit for stirring the drink as it seems there hasn't been a coach since Darryl that's had the stones to give Iggy the tough love he needs at times.

In all honesty, I found it refreshing to hear an ex teammate get on a big name player. You don't hear it often and it's not like anything Rhett said was all that unfair. Jarome has lacked intensity this season, he has lacked a certain something. Not sure how that's debatable.
Rhett wasn't dumping all over him or anything, it really wasn't that bad and I don't buy Rhett going for shock value with his comments at all. It's his opinion and it wasn't cliche, I'm all for it as long as it comes across as honest. Rhett's comments sounded honest to me.
