Saying that Dallas is awful takes nothing away from the Flames. They took advantage of the opportunity that was given to them - that doesn't always happen.

Cause Ferrero sucks worst than Simmer.
You are right. Flames are skating up and down the rink. When was the last time you saw a Flames team with this much speed, this many long passes and this many active sticks break-up up Dallas' passes and rhythm.
I also complained before, today's hockey is about your 5 guys covering the entire ice surface faster than the other 5 guys. Sutter's 5 guys could never be in position or cover the ice as much or as fast the other 5 guys. Hartley's 5 guys can.

Hudler and cervenka are absolute magicians

Is anyone else kind of starting to think that Leland Irving is a pretty good goalie?

For some reason I think you aren't a drinker, but for me, I am glad I picked up an extra bottle because games like this feel good down into your bones.
Sure, Dallas is playing terrible and it's the backup, but it is really nice to see some puck possession.
I don't think it's coaching, I think it's personnel. Calgary couldn't play like this last year or the year before. Bourque hold onto it at the half wall like hudler does? No way.

Probably a bit if both but Dallas looks awful out there.

hahahahah. TSN pulling clips from the FAN960? might as well interview Flames fans from CP for the 2nd intermission, like Stang, Blaster86, oilerfan81, and henriksedin.

Ferraro is fine. Dallas honestly has terrible defensive zone coverage.

I love that Hudler and Cervenka win almost every puck battle along the boards. They aren't big guys but they play with so much size - it impresses me. They should never be separated.

Nope. Still looks shaky and unsure of himself.
Few nice saves though.

If Hartley can turn around Bowmeester that is huge not just for this year but for potentially the next 10 years. If Peter and Mike are seeing the game the way everyone else is it sounds like he is the best player on the ice tonight.

Great period. Nice to see the jump. Butler owns that Dallas goal.

Hudler can be surprisingly effective in board battles. It's pretty impressive given that he's tiny.
