Celtic defended badly in spots today but were unlucky too, the one juve defender was like a hockey defenceman in there on corners, got away with alot.

The the guy who said they shouldn't be in the knockout stage is probably just pissed they beat barca, they were solid throughout, I admire what they've accomplished spending within their means and keeping it in the black on a very limited budget compared to other CL sides.

That was crazy, I couldnt believe the ref let everything go like that. I saw the highlights and that guy was all over everyone!

That's not the reason I feel that way, if I recall correctly Barca still won their group. I honestly think that Celtic are undeserving of being in the knockout stage. If they had any sort of talent they would be heading into the return leg with an advantage but as it stands, their time in the knockout stage is pretty much over.

As for the Juve defender. They Juventus defender was there protecting his keeper and giving him a chance to maneuver around the Celtic forward they sent in to stand in front of or right beside Buffon.

I would have gained perhaps an ounce of respect for Celtic's tactics had they taken out Ambrose. They guy was completely useless out there, missing a header with no Juve defenders around him, blocking a shot from his own teammate while attacking and being completely out to lunch on defense. The Celtic manager was too concerned being a drama queen on the sidelines rather than accurately making changes.

They beat Barca, that is itself is good enough to get them through to the knockout stages.

Not sure how they were undeserving when they were second in their group and it's not like they were handed some soft group that didn't feature any good teams.

Why? They beat Barca at home, they barely lost to Barca away, they won in Moscow and most importantly, they had more points than the team in 3rd place.

I can see Evans: a) Getting torn to shreds; b) Getting sent off; or c) Both.

As tempted as I am to hope for c), I would like to see a good game.

I'm concerned.. did anyone catch if Vidic is on the bench?

Vidic not on bench. Pepe also on bench, along with LOL Modric.

Lewandoski has life today for Dortmund

Hummels just hit the crossbar off a corner but it stays out

Beauty free kick by Shakhtar (Srna) to take the lead after a terrible challenge by Santana. No chance for Weidenfeller
