He killed a little girl and her mom but people read his manifesto and the music from the fugitive starts playing in their head so #### it, let him go.

I fully agree, I was just finding the only thing that was even coming close to what was being suggested.

It's also not like First Blood in that Rambo doesn't kill anybody in that movie. The only death is from the guy falling out of the helicopter.

Maybe not directly. They shot it in Hope BC. Half the cast and crew probably died of boredom and/or truck exhaust fumes.

Have you pointed out your claim yet? Or are you just going to keep putting words in peoples statements so you can create an argument out of thin air?

Did anyone just hear that prank call on the air? Gave me goosebumps. I thought it was going to be Dorner.

I just can't believe how incompetent the LAPD has been through this. They are endangering the lives of its citizens, you think they would a little more careful.

Just how exactly is he making a fool of the LAPD? He's been trained by the military and police in weapons and tactics and has now taken to the bush. Rural settings (especially the bush) are by far the most dangerous environment for police to conduct a manhunt. Very easy to get ambushed. They caught him at a roadblock, so he's being contained to the bush, they're likely hoping he dies of exposure or gets so weak that he can't fight back anymore. Out of curiosity, what would you have the police do right now?

Huh. Who knew Dorner could get Wifi out in the bush/boonies?

That honestly wouldn't hurt, but the FBI HRT (not sure if they're on the ground there yet) would be sufficient. Possibly LAPD SWAT or the Sheriffs Office (if they are trained to operate in rural areas). Contain him in a section of bush until he either gives up or forces a confrontation.

One guy vs. the LAPD
It's not like this guy has been trying to hide or is very discreet.

This isn't a movie. Lives are at stake and you don't just rush head first into a situation with an armed and dangerous individual. The end goal is to get him alive with no else getting hurt or killed. One well trained person with weapons who is highly motivated can be extremely dangerous as we are seeing here. There is always risk in a situation like this but you must mitigate what risk you can.

Again, what would you have the police do differently?
