Oh, okay don't believe it then? Not sure if I do either I just brought it up for discussion to help theory craft. I clearly am not in the Flames office so I can't substantiate how Feaster personally feels about Irving obviously. Just some food for thought as I said. It literally says who said it in the quote, Wall was the Silvertips Starting goalie when Irving first joined the team.

I get that it says who it is, I am not illiterate. Anyone can claim they are someone on the internet. I could say I'm Bouwmeester's brother in law, doesn't make it true. The reason I asked for a link is to establish how reliable the claim is, both the claim of who the person is and what they are saying.

They probably want Irving to be challenged more and not have the mentality that he has a guaranteed spot. He shouldn't have the luxury of feeling that secure.

I am not sure that is the case. Taylor is up backing Irving, but Taylor is also the guy who took Irving's starter job in Abby not once, but twice. If I was Irving, I would feel 'challenged' enough just having Taylor up.

If they throw Irving away after some decent play I'll be livid. I really do not understand the Macdonald move at all.

45 minutes until Feaster talks to the media.

Other than Kipper being out for longer there was no reason for this move. Irving has played well enough to be the back up for the rest of the season.

Even if they want a better back up than Irving, MacDonald is not going to be much of an upgrade.

Strange move to me. Did Taylor really look that bad in practice? Or were the Heat desperate to get him back?

It's not hard to imagine that the season is done. Irving has played well, but this team needs last years Kipper to have a solid chance of making the playoffs.

Meh. Overall Irving has been better than Kiprusoff this year so far.

Street down for Byron?

Makes sense, we are down centremen, so we send down a guy who has been playing that position in the minors for a guy who's been converted to a winger.

Its already been a long two weeks.

This team is just going to have to find another way to win or Mackinnon can start looking for an apartment in Bridgeland.

And not the other guy who was a centre and has been converted to a winger who has shown an ability to stick with an NHL lineup.

Did the flames actually just get even smaller?

We need Backlund back. Irving's been no worse than Kipper was, but we're really hurting everywhere else.
