Seriously? He just put up a 24 save, 1 goal game performance.

He did everything you can expect from a backup.

Although I will admit, he is awful in the shootout. Then again, so is Mikka

Why is Jones such a bad idea? You guys are always sick of the same old guys (iginla, glencross). Maybe Jones has been lighting it up in practice!

Badly need to draft a centre with star potential.

Can't complain at all about jones in there. Hartley made the right call. By putting him first, the pressure was off.

Did tanguay have a wicked bad Hangover? Just an awful game from him. Terrible.

Another game without a win. Tough being a flames fan.

Why not put Stempy in the shootout? He's got the hot hand right now. Don't mind the idea of trying out Jones but that was a pathetic attempt, same goes for Tanguay.

That was predictable. But at least we tied it up and have 1 good shoot out player.

Irving played a pretty good game.
Brodie is growing into an excellent top four D man.
Just wish Sven and Backlund weren't hurt.

Did you guys see the Shootout percentage of Elias? He scores 50% of the time. That usually means you're great at Shootouts.

Don't blame Irving at all.

Glencross was pretty bad and looked lazy.

Tangauy was worse, and must have a concussion because he apparently thought he was a Wild with the number of passes he completed to them in comparison to the number of passes to his own team.

Iginla was by far the worst player on the ice tonight. Lazy, disinterested, and pathetic. Horrible play on the Wild goal to give the puck away, then lazy glide back as he watches them score.

Irving played fine in the game, but was embarssingly bad in the shootout. Pretty sure the Wild could have gone through their entire lineup without missing a goal based on how he played those first two.

This team will fight for a lottery pick.

lets be honest Irving seems to be playing good but the Flames have to totally change their game with him in net....one on one he dives out of the net

I'm coming around to the idea that the Flames are actually a pretty good team. The only thing they're lacking (which is unfortunately maybe the most important thing) is the ability to score goals.

But if you look at the guys on the roster who can be expected to do most of the scoring, they are either injured (Cammalleri, maybe Sven) or just inept right now (Iginla, Glencross). If those guys were just scoring at normal rates the Flames would be in great shape.

I think the D looks great, the offence is connecting, the only not working is the lamp-lighting. Hopefully that gets sorted out sooner rather than later, but I'm enjoying the games nonetheless.

6 and 21 all time in the shootout at the dome. Good grief.

Tanguay was hot garbage tonight. Turrible. I would have benched him tonight.

Comeau is one of the worst players to ever wear the flaming C.

Backup goaltenders in Calgary must feel like charlie brown trying to kick the football (with the role of Lucy being played by the rest of the team).
