Come on guys, the OT records are in the game note package right when you walk thru the door.

I keep seeing stuff like this but it doesn't appear to negatively effect his game in the NHL. Always getting chances, always in the right spot in the offensive zone.

He has long strides and kind of heavy feat but gets around fine. Has a long reach and great hands. Definitely a different type of player.

Wouldn't be surprised of they worked on that in the off season.

They had Backstrom with 9 shutouts at the beginning of the game.

Do they have to have that graphic take up half the screen during play? I'm sure a high school can put together a better broadcast.

Well, maybe but I really don't see it being an issue. The way it's been brought up continuously the past two games is a bit nutty.

Cervenkas injury could very well still be affecting his speed somewhat.

It didn't happen tonight, but they've missed important faceoffs in the past because of that.

The last 5 minutes of regulation in a tied NHL game is about the most boring 5 minutes in sports. They might as well just go to commercials until Ot, when someone might actually try to score.

Solid positional play. His feet are a little more antsy than I'd like to see him, but he's doing well.

Yup, another argument for 3 point games IMO. Team will try to end it in regulation.. cause once it hits OT you're only playing for two.
