Ben Street bringing the physical play today! Runs that much bigger defender over trying to get to the net.

Stajan is playing yet another good game. Not sure what happened to him, but he's a different player this year, no doubt.

Iginla easily the worst player for the Flames. Stajan was so much better than 12. That says a lot folks. A lot.

What the heck are the lines? The only things I know are Glencross-Cervenka-Jones and Hudler and Iginla seem to be on a line. Comeau and Jackman are fourth line.

Watching the Wild offense is like watching the 2003 Flames. Holy crap do they suck.

With Kipper's start, that shouldn't be tough to do.

Sloppy period, but they finally got their legs going during the last 5 minutes there and were throwing lots of pucks at the net. If they can keep that up, they'll win this one.

Hudler – Street – Iginla
Cervenka – Jones – Glencross
Tanguay – Stajan – Stempniak
Comeau – Begin – Jackman

You know the flames are in trouble when Matt Stajan is outplaying Jarome Iginla.

Anyone who complains about our play that period is a downright fool.
Great 1st period, similar to the first period we played against the sharks. We play like this the whole game, we'll be good to go. Assuming we can finish.

Can't decide if that was a good or bad period. Kinda all over the place.

Irving is looking really strong in net tonight, seems calmer. I really do hope he's not on his way out of town to make way for a 33 year old, middle of the road, pending UFA goaltender.
