This team just isn't built correctly. There will never be a physically intense game with this roster.

I hope this provides a reality check to some of the Flames knob gobblers a little bit.

Its not like the Canucks are anything special, the Forwards for the Flames have been pretty dreadful.

The Flames who have done a good job this year of exploiting their breakouts and really rotating in the offensive zone aren't moving their feet tonight.

Its sad because the Canucks aren't a very impressive lineup, they have a good blueline and one line up front.

This is the intermission where the coach has to do some yelling, they're wasting a really good game by a rookie netminder

Yeah, switched the D But forgets about the rest.

Not sure it would have made a difference though, as the Sedins have been imposing their will all game.

With Tanguay as the centre the top line is doomed against them. Huge mismatch.

Poor, poor play tonight. Irving the only reason they're still in it.

Giordano has been bad.
Iggy has been floaty.
Glencross flat out awful.
Tanguay blech.

Don't know what Hartley can say or do in this one.

I agree but we've won 2 from 3 and have 3 homers up next. Sucks to lose to these flopping pansies but we've made progress overall.

Glass half full and all that....

This game reminds of the efforts the Flames of the past would give thier backup.

Hartley should tell Iginla to get one hit per shift or he's benched, hes such a terrible finesse player. Needs to be physical to dominate

It is bad news when the Sedins look big against a lot of our players. Anyways, try an have a good third and build something for next game.

I'm amazed on the Canucks cycle how much interference they get away with, on the third goal there were canucks running picks all over the ice.

Irving has made some great saves so far tonight and he is NOT the reason we are losing. The team as a whole just looks terrible.
I'm not blaming him for losing. He just looks really nervous and unsure of himself on easy saves. Always looking behind him. Which was always my criticism of him from day 1. So unsure of himself.

If Comeau could keep a hold of his effing stick on the first goal maybe we wouldn't be down 3-1 right now.

Hartley should kick Tangs and Iggy and tell them to skate north south instead of east west.

I get nervous everytime Irving faces a slapshot from the point.

All things considered he's giving us a chance at least. Also showing we made the right decision as far as backup goalies are concerned IMO.
It's to early to tell, I would rather watch how he plays a few games before giving him the benefit of the doubt.
