He was talking about the world cup I'm pretty sure. I'm sure a 3rd rate player like burrows could make that team if he practices hard enough!

That team Canada segment was awful.
Bieksa would be a disaster on the big ice against top line players. He struggles on NHL sized ice against 4th liners.
Again with the garbage about Schultz. Perhaps he can learn how to play defense before we talk about him anywhere near a team Canada team, let alone the Olympics.

I thought that 'name a defenseman better than' was an excellent illustration of just how terrible the suggestion that Schultz is an Olympic defender at this point or the near future.

I can't believe I'm actually going to support Alex Burrows, but I was really impressed with him in the WCs last year. He wasn't his yappy, annoying, Canucks self. It seemed like wearing the Red White and Black really means something to him. I would have no problem with him on the team, but I really don't see it happening.
Bieksa and Hamhuis shouldn't even be considered unless there's a few injuries.
And I still say Reimer could be the third goalie.

Burrows being on an Oly team is even stupider than the suggestion of Schultz....and that was mind numbingly stupid.

It's ok if you agreed with it, but my god, Ron's hate on for the Canucks is comical. How often do you see him dedicate that much energy to attack one player? Hell, he brought Campbell on to give him some credibility.
McLean was simply defending Auger and went fishing. Then he went on an explanation bender with apology attempts.

Your future Team Canada starter everyone!
Team Canada is in trouble if we're going into Europe with 3 cold goalies on the team. We'll probably end us losing to the Swiss like we did in 06.

Shots 43-15 in favor of the Isles, yet the Sabres win 3-2. Miller stole this one.

Holy, what happened in the Blues game? 3-1 blues and then I turn on and it's 4-3 Ducks.

It's a year away. No need to worry about hot or cold goalies. Too much can change

Start Brodeur. Can't argue with his pedigree. His puck handling will be vital in the Olympic sized rink.

Dion gets his first of the year in game 12......the sixth goal in a 6-0 blow out on a 5 on 3 powerplay.
Go Dion.
