4th out of 5 teams in the division...yet all we ever hear about is the points.

why is Eberle basically a lock for most peoples team canada? Because of the last second goal in junior

Matt Frattin has only 3 fewer ES goals than the entire Oilers team combined and he's played 3 fewer games.

hahaha what a joke of a team. I bet they couldn't beat the 4 best teams in the AHL in a best of 7 series.
You are correct ... When the NHL lockout ended the OKC Studs ( eberle , hall, RNH, and Schultz) were at 4th place in their division . Sure Schultz and Eberle put up huge points against lesser skilled players .., didn't lead to any kind of team success .

So are all the Oiler uber-stars going to try the Taylor Hall "through your own legs attempt shot and miss wide" hot dog manouever now? I noticed Eberle tried it today. Tomorrow I hear it is Yakupovs turn.

OKC is a bad team, but if the supercore plus Paajarvi & Hartikainen were barely a playoff team how do people seriously think those guys will do any better playing against NHL teams. I love seeing the Oil (and Flames) lose, but I really hope the Oil don't fall below 11th.

They may think they are following the Pit/Chi model, but it looks more like the Atlanta model. Hopefully it stays that way.

He does seem to perform well in international tournaments and he is a good hockey player. He does deserve a long look for Team Canada.

I love that "other" place during times like these. It's a nice mixture of the odd coiler fan who knew going in the team wasn't very good, the odd kool aid guzzler who's is coming to grips with the harsh reality, and some who are still fully on board the hype train to nowhere.

Pretty evenly played game. The Oilers now have the stars to match the likes of Datsyuk and Zetterberg, but the diiference was that the Wings scored on their 5 on 3 and the Oilers did not.
Yeah coiler, keep guzzling haha.

Another low scoring affair between the Coyotes and the Sharks, it is still scoreless with just over five minutes left in regulation time.

When the Flames did that to Chicago....all the negative nellies insisted it meant that the Flames sucked cause they couldnt finish....so i guess this means that SJ now sucks as well?

The best result would be for both teams to win in regulation time.

Be fair. That opinion was based on years of data, not just one game. It's not like people deducted from one game that the Flames suck. The San Jose lineup doesn't have as much to prove.

Someone must have told Marleau and Thornton that it's playoff hockey now.
