Nice play Lowry.

Give it to Gay now.

And Bargnani isn't? Boozer is twice the player.

Good game for the Raptors! I like how they kept it close by getting a quick easy two, fouling and getting the possession back, rather than going for the three. Rudy Gay wins it, nice to see.

Yeah, game of the year so far. Love having the ball in Gay's hands in late game situations.

Great win. Man, it was a great team building game. Next game though, I want to see more Alvin Anderson instead of take-the-shot-from-anywhere-John-Lucas. He almost single handedly lost it by taking dumb shots. Andrea will need a couple more games to get back in game shape. I'm more interested in seeing how he copes with pressure now that he's such a focus. Tonight he played with heart which is what everyone wants to see, so let's see if he can keep it up. Jonas, nice emotional hard game as well.

That inbounds by the Pacer with 5 seconds left may have been the dumbest play of the year.

Cost his team s sure win.

Boozer is playing too well for a Chicago team that can still dream of a championship this year (obviously heavily contingent on how well Rose returns), so I doubt they trade him. He's probably an amnesty candidate after the season, at which point Bryan can then overpay him to his hearts content.

IF you watch the replay Lowry gives West a shove and they are glaring at each other when he makes that dumb pass. Lot of little things happened in the last part of that game. Amir chucking up shots but then grabs the rebound both times. Gay hustles back and picks off the pass. Lowry with his take the guy off his game move.

Great win but a lot of hustle/luck involved before Gay drains the biggy.

But about time the bounces went their way.

Raptors are absolutely dunking this first quarter like I've never seen in franchise history. They were dominating, leading by about 15 in the first quarter alone, then they got sloppy by going for the crazy dunks every possession. I know it's early to judge, but those who were questioning getting Gay should now realize it was a very good trade. He's been a perfect ambassador for the team, and a calming influence, which was not expected.

I still question the trade because the Raptors still aren't close to contending and won't be unless Gay is the 3rd best player on the team (outside of getting lebron).

The team is still set up for mediocrity and at best a shot at 7th if everything works out.

It is great that Gay is a calming influence but he is still wildly overpaid and a bad fit with the roster that this team has.

Based on their play so far it's pretty hard to argue he's been a bad fit with the roster. What are they, 5-2 since they acquired him? Knocking off the Clips, Nuggets, and Pacers in that stretch too so not like it's been basement fodder.

His FG% isn't always super efficient but ultimately he's been getting the job done. That and the Raps have been incredibly fun to watch since they picked him up.
