Bouw has been playing very well this season but you can't deny that it was a brutal turnover. If he didn't fall over like that then that goal never happens

Weak.

Yep, and Gio knew it based on his reaction.

Flames outplaying the Jackets and I hope they get a win out of it. They deserve it IMO.

This is how Calgary will look Kipper-less. I fear for the future.

I'd say that's on Giordano entirely, you learn to not screen the goalie in peewee, let the goalie save the shot from the outside while watching for the pass

Jaybo might have been able to recover if he hadn't been run into the linesman.

Low percentage play by Giordano. Screens Irving right at the critical moment. Hudler should get it deep at the other end as opposed to dumping to Bouw, who made a bad play. Pretty much everyone on ice at fault.

2 shots (legit shots) in 1st period, 2 goals, no 'legit' shots in 2nd, no goals, 1 legit shot in the 3rd, 1 goal.
Wow, Irving come on

If Hudler didn't set him up to fail, then that goal never happens.
If Gio doesn't screen the goalie, then that goal may not have happened.
There were a lot of fails on that play. Bouw was singled out by several posters because of existing bias.

Seems like the Jackets have been falling down a lot in the offensive zone in this game.

Tough to blame Gio. It wasn't the conventional 2 on 1 given the pass to Prospal was a drop pass. Irving has to be expecting a shot as a result of that too as there likely isn't going to be a pass, but wasn't ready for it. If Gio gets out of the way Prospal can go in and deke.

I was just gonna say the same thing. Flames can't seem to hold a lead to save their lives. Even worse, they always have trouble holding a lead against garbage teams like Columbus. My god this team is frustrating.

Gio seems to be getting good at screening the goalie, maybe he should park his butt on the blue paint for our PP

Let's face it, it looks about the same as with Kipper this year.
