Begin hasn't seemed like much of a pest, just seems like a good locker room guy.

Flames need a guy like Ville Niemenen from 2004. A Claude Lemieux type or more extreme Sean Avery type.

Also I absolutely hate the calls you get for slashing a players stick or knocking it out of his hands. If the stick breaks that should be a call but if it is just for the slash to the stick or if the stick falls out of his hands it should not be a penalty. Players need to know how to hold on to their stick.

Can't believe the heat that Jackman and his 2 minutes of play is taking on cp. he makes near league minimum , and would be in the press box if Cammi was playing. Not sure what cp thinks they get for around $600 000.

Still, could have signed a guy like Konopka instead. He's much better at faceoffs and fighting.

Konopka is also better than Comeau, imo.

Anything, he's expected to bring a positive influence during 2 minutes instead of nothing at all.

Really ugly period, but there are two more. Flames win 4-2.

Both goals were great shots, but it looked like Irving lost his net on both. Kipper would have let in the second one too. Irving looked decent the rest of the period.
