Why does EA keep making me lose my players? The game put ray emery on waivers but I never moved him? Now someone claimed him. Just lost my good back up goalie and still have my ####ty one. I'm getting robbed. Now I'm scared every time there's an advance that I'm gonna lose yet another player
It is super annoying. I lost Mike Rupp (76) to waivers last period and I didn't put him there, either. Which is a PITA because I had to call up Tim Stapleton (72) instead for my 4th line. Suffice it to say I'd much rather have had Rupp. We should have some rule about trading back unintentionally waived players.

In the future if you don't have any extra players called up, you shouldn't have any waiver problems. I'm pretty sure it only happens if you get an injury or player returning from one and you're at the 23 man roster cap so it forces players to be moved around.
Yeah, mine happened when it simmed the one game I didn't play, my 2nd line centre got injured for 20some-odd-games. The computer GM, for reasons passing understanding, decided to call up a minor league RW who was like 61 overall to slot into my lineup and waived Rupp. WTF??
Tried contacting Montreal multiple times while he was on actively playing game to no response I had to take a sim against Ottawa last period and had a key injury I would rather not sim again
