Default What? no superbowl commercial thread

I'm totally disappointed in CP,after arriving home from the annual party nobody posted the commercials..WTF?

Anyway I reluctantly found this so-called top 10.

I loved the Audi one, and the Budweiser one with the horse. Nothing else really stood out for me.

Wow those Mercedes and VW commercials were awesome!

VW has the best ad team out there.

I missed a couple the few times I stepped away during commercial break, but I liked the Audi one with the kid at the prom. Doritos are always good, liked the one with the goat. The Bud Light ones with Stevie Wonder were idiotic.

The worst had to be the Gagnam style one.

Mercedes was best for me but that might just be because Willem Dafoe makes the perfect devil.

Good to see GoDaddy finally make a decent Super Bowl commercial again. Been awhile.

I enjoyed the Dodge Ram commercial.

Not sure if Paul Harvey was as big in Canada, but that voice brought back some good memories. I wasn't raised on a farm, but I was born and lived in a farm community for quite a few years.

Why no Superbowl commercial thread you ask.

I love it how the NFL created that blackout on purpose so they could fit in another 183 commercials! haha

I liked the Samsung and Budweiser ads, and the Doritos one with the goat. The Oreo and Mercedes ads were also not too bad.

Not sure why the VW ad with the white guy talking with a Jamaican accent got any flak, it seemed light hearted and harmless.

The rest I thought meh to yuck. Didn't like the Go daddy ad with the supermodel and the geek making out, it was over the top.

That's precisely why we need the thread!

That and Google not returning adblitz when I searched for "superbowl commercials".

Ya that one was a little awkward. When I said I was surprised they actually had a decent one this year, I meant this one:

Not amazing or anything, but certainly better than what they've been putting out the last few years.
