This ice tonight is really embarrassing.
Has there been any response or comments from Flames management?

The Flames need to steal the guy that does the ice for Rexall Place.

What's Ken King's email? I'll send him one. Others should too.
Ice has looked really bad. In a cap league, spending money on things other than player salary helps you get an advantage over your competitors. Assuming, of course, that it is an issue that money can fix.

Ice looked just deplorable tonight. Whatever the problem is, they need to get on it.

They need to drop the temperature in the building a few degrees.
Noticed (finally) that they are scraping the ice all the way across in the end zone during TV time outs. Someone needs to invent something like a mini Zamboni that can do a cleaning in 3 minutes (maybe like 6 mini zambonis).

That's all there is to say really. When it comes across as really that bad even on TV, like it did tonight, it shouldn't be ignored any further.

The ice has injured our premier prospect, in his rookie season, and it's still not fixed.
I can't imagine it's that difficult to repair / fix, is it? Like maybe schedule a few practices elsewhere while you get the ice to where you need it to be?
Stupid at this point, puck is insanely bouncy.

With the way Tanguay called out the ice in his interview on the fan 960 tonight, you'd sure hope so.

With players getting an app to rate ice surfaces for every game, do we as fans get to see the results? Ken King must be getting calls from league headquarters by now.

This isn't a new development. Saddledome ice has been bad for at least 3 years.

Pretty much that it was bad, though i think he was referencing his shootout chance specifically. He made sure not to use it as an excuse, but it was definitely a pointed comment.

I feel like it's been on a downward slide for a decade now, but this year it's like they are playing on chunky concrete.

There's no excuse other than being cheap and not wanting to install a new ice machine before you build a new arena.

I've sent KK a couple emails, back in the day, and he's always replied. Was a nice feeling.

The Flames have redone the ice plant a few times in the past decade, and KK said back about 5 or 6 years ago that that was as big a reason for a new building as other factors, because the ice plant is as upgraded as it can get given the other factors within the building's engineering.
Being at the game, I guess I didn't realy notice it or blame it soley on the unfathomable loss tonight, but I don't think its got the ability to get much better ig you believe what KK has said over the past years, until you can build the whoel thing from scratch.
