If we would have hit them more, we would have outshot them 60-20 instead of 50-20 and won the game.

The Flames did deserve a better fate, you put almost 50 shots on an opposition goalie and you should win the game. Lack of skill lost the game I guess...

I would love to complain about the result, but if someone told me last night or even this morning we would get a point from this game I would have been happy with that. The fact we dominated the game is somewhat satisfying to me because it's a step forward and us getting a point from one of the better teams in the league.

That's certainly one way to spin it.

Sure it was a entertaining team, but this team is bad, and there is a good chance we finish last in the NHL.

The 47 shots weren't cheapies either, had to be 20 good scoring chances in there. Type of game that makes me want to move to Australia and start following totally different sports.

Bad teams have good games. And they even win some of them. But they don't have enough good games and they don't win enough. The way to tell which is a bad team and which is a good team is to look at the standings.

I don't know man I don't think he would have scored in a whore house tonight. Poor guy was snake bitten tonight.

Look at Kane and Toews' shootout %. They fool goalies all the time.

You know it's a bad nite when the Flames have more posts than KevanGuy in the past year on CP.

Where are you? haha

Yeah. Any time Tangs misses on his attempt it's likely going to be a longshot for the Flames to win the shootout but Hudler's move was nice and Emery was just having one of those games tonight. Kind of surprised at the lack of creativity by Cervenka on his opportunity.

He's socially awkward, don't know how he managed to get to the position he holds. They need Cabby.

Well it's the truth. Hawks couldn't keep up with the Flames in the 3rd period. Pretty evident.
