I'm not so sure. Cross check with the stick right on the name plate. coming from a bigger player. Didnt look like a dive to me either.

I've been away on vacation so I've missed Hudler's and Cervenka's debut.... but wow can you tell when those two are on the ice. Especially Hudler. Totally different dynamic when they're out there, something I don't think I've ever really seen with the Flames.

Have they been playing like this the last few games as well? No wonder Hudler was in on all three of our goals against the Avs...

Yeah, actually I just watched it again, because everyone seems to be so divided on it, and looking back it was actually pretty blatant.

Flames have looked pretty good. Anybody's game right now. So much for those on the forum that said the Hawks would blow the Flames out.

This has been their weakest game so far, their first two games they were dominant. Not playing poorly tonight, but not like the last two games for sure.

my teenaged cousin is at the game and he texted me the following:

"Those ice girls have figured out how to make them bounce like they are riding a horse while only skating. God bless Canada!"

I think my husband is not impressed that I am sitting in bed, drinking a glass of wine (ok maybe more than 2), and eating popcorn which is going all over the place, making the bed seem like a sandbox. Drinking, watching hockey, and eating popcorn isn't conducive to 'neat and tidy.' Le Sigh.

It's what the Flames do. The lose the games that should be gimmes (Colorado) and show up really well for the better team shortly after.

Never cheer for your team to lose. That's what separates us from the animals.

Btw, 3-1 Flames tonight.

Oh I know. Too used to it. Really have not understood why except to make us fans crazy I suppose.

Get rid of the shootout and go to the judges to decide?
