I hate this line of thinking.

Nobody holds back when Iginla stinks it up and he's been the Flames best player far longer than Kiprusoff.

What? I really can't agree. There were some good shifts and Hudler-Stajan-Cervenka had their moments, but outside of that the Flames were far from playing well overall.

So disappointing. Hate to say it but Kipper needs a break. Give Irving the start against the Hawks and maybe that helps to motivate him.
Hudler, Cervenka and Stajan looked great for most of the game though. A definite positive there.

Okay how the #### do you drop 3 goals in 2 minutes. Kipper, seriously, sit out the next game. 2-3 of those goals were almost entirely your fault, just.. take a break. Tanguay, stay out of the faceoff circle. Hudler, keep it up. Cervenka, keep it up. And these next two, unbelievable i'd ever say this. Stajan, Bouwmeester, KEEP IT UP.

This was pathetic. Kiprusoff played like he's 36, that can't keep happening. Our top line is the issue. They didn't give us much the entire game. Make the top line the Czech line. Hands down, best line on the team.

It's a sad day when the most overpayed player in the league has found his form and is earning is money and now we're just gonna keep playing like the #### im about to take.

Oh and i'll eat a cupcake with mouse poop on it if Iggy hits 15 goals this season.

In every other metric, Calgary was the better team on ice.

Worst of all, Colorado got #@#$ goaltending tonight... we just got worse.

This whole Kipper and Iggy starting slow stuff needs to stop, it's literally killing us.

Well what if we had a very poor goalie tandem, Think about it. We are lucky to have Kipper he has held us in far to many games then he should have.

They could have just got away 4-3. They had to just go and be d-bags and blow it up from there. Lol.. That stings, man!

I hope we go and beat them down 9-1 in their building like we did that one game... I believe they called it "The Valentine's Massacre"

Kipper especially, three out of four games he has let some very soft goals in. Even if the D is at fault he is usually there to bail em out. So far this season. Not so much. Maybe its age? Who knows. I ve heard he has some bad habits too, maybe those are starting to affect him in his 36 year old state.

Disappointing game. Especially considering we were pretty dominant throughout. I'm thinking once we shake the rust of having not played (no training camp) and that extended lockout, we'll be looking a lot better soon. Kipper will regain top form.

Taking the positives from this game I could easily see us finishing 5th or 6th.

After a week off a break is the last thing kipper deserves. Tell him he is starting and he owes his squad for tonight's effort. That Parenteau goal is one of the softest of his career.

Butler is terrible and needs to be shipped out.
Bouwmeester had another good game. Not amazing, but good.
Czech line was awesome. Will get better as cervenka gets back in game shape.
Going to be tough to fit Baertschi in on the top 9 rit now, unless Hartley sits Cammy.
Jarome had a decent game (pk was solid) but dude gets paid to light the lamp. Score already!
1st pp was aweful. No urgency.

Going to cheer on the sharks vs the coilers...

Risky business making bets like this, eating pubes is the local tradition.

Is it still to early to say "Must Win?".
It's been 4 years of this crap, the Hartley principle looks really exciting but way to many old people and floaters on this team....
We now have a first line, something we haven't had for 4 years.

Just saying, but

I don't care what Kiprusoff did for us 3, 4, 6 years ago. I mean great, but I care about now. Cause that's what presently matters.

So yes, he does in fact deserve some criticism. That Avs PP goal should NOT have gone in, that's a routine save right there, to stay on the damned post when the player is coming from that side. That was just sad. Then it was just mental deflation from there, pretty pathetic.

If he cannot keep us in the game then yeah, IDC how many days off they had, He should be held just as accountable as any other player on the team. Same goes for Cammy, guy has looked like a mess out there. Maybe get his old sticks back, i dont know.

How many years in a row have we seen Iginla and Kipper MIA at season start? Both are notoriously slow starters, but ... it's a short season, we cant afford that.

[I]Butler flubbed the pass and caused one goal.
Kipper completely flubbed the second goal. Not screened and still missed it. Needs to sit.
Sarich was out of place and caused one goal.
Bowmeester flubbed the clearing and caused the fourth goal.
Czech line was awesome.
#1 line is our downfall. Time to break it up. Iginla gets paid to score.
#1 pp is awful.
