This system is eerily similar to the Keenan Flames ie. No system.

Hudler is da bomb!

I'm outta here but if the Flames really want to win, Hartley needs to staple Butler's ass to the bench for the 3rd period. 5 dmen for the rest of the game!

The only thing more baffling than Butler's play tonight...

Calgary not a skilled team?

I take exception to that statement.

Two HON quality goals tonight

Agreed with ARI. Glencross has tried at least 3 long passes that have been picked off by the Avalanche.

and the rest of the year.

With the exception of a few players, I thought the Flames reverted to Sutter style offense for the majority of the period. Somewhat concerning..

Not sure why Butler went into the lineup for a guy (Smith) who had been playing fine but that's a -1 right there in addition to one of the softer NHL goals you will see on the second marker.

Better get two points against this team.
Hartley needs to stop riding the guys he's identified as his top line. He's doing it way too much. Backlund and Stempniak are having good seasons thus far and are barely playing tonight.

You have three solid lines that can score, roll them.

Butler is not good at hockey, but we should blame him for things when it is actually his fault.
Butler should have closed and hit his man into the boards instead of a wussy one handed stick check. He was definitely a big factor on that goal.

Two worst players on the ice in this game. Kipper needs to start playing better as he's been subpar to start the season.

Second period stats

Look at the ice time differential, yet the shifts are really close. The Iginla line's shifts are way too long, that's why they always seem so slow out there.

He has been pretty bad himself with two weak goals.

The Flames should be killing this Avs team they are awful.

Hopefully the effort is a little better in third.
