I hate 'Spring Ahead'. I much prefer 'Fall Back'.

The shortest day of the year.
I hate losing the hour, but I like the extra hour of sunlight, nothing like being outside at 10:00 during the summer and the sun is still in the sky.

Is it me, or was hardly anything mentioned about this Spring's time change?

When someone told me to spring forward I thought it was some sort of odd April fools joke. Doesn't time changes usually happen around the 20th or so of April and October?

I hate this time change sooooooo much. An hour less to sleep, an hour less to do stuff in. Isn't there a stat that car accidents increase today/tomorrow due to sleep deprivation?
Off to do 8 hours of work in 7 hours.....grrrr

Oh, I forgot! And I was thinking I got up early today (9 AM). And the time change shouldn't be the day after April one.

I appreciate it being on a Sunday when most people sleep in. You don't 'have' to get up for anything. Which was a good thing because I forgot to set my clocks ahead last night.

I still woulda been up in time. My body woke me up at '8' which was actually 9, but church doesn't start until 10 usually. And it's a block away.

I would just as soon keep DST all year, forget the whole Fall Back thing. Just keep this time forever.

Not for about 20 years. In the mid-80's the date was moved from the last Sunday in April to the first Sunday in April.
Starting next year, DST will start on the second Sunday of March and end on the first Sunday of November.

I know for a fact that Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario have adopted it. I still haven't heard if other provinces have followed suit yet or not, but I would be surprised if they didn't.

Except when, in a stroke of stupidity, you arrange for your realtor to meet you at 9:00am.

1 less hour to study for tommorows HR exam. Combine that with not being able to get off CP, and I'm likely not gonna do to well.

I'm not even gonna try to blame the lost hour for that. I admit it, I'm a procrastinator. And a CP addict.
