RX-7 and 8, All the Mazdaspeed cars, any Acura with sh-awd, WRX, STi, Legacy GT, 370Z, Genesis Coupe, G37, Evo... All of those cars have more soul then any American or German car.
American cars are by far the worst looking as well.
Unpopular is right.
Other than the 370Z all those cars listed fit the bill of soulless junk. "Super-Handling" Acuras would be at the top of the Maytag mobile list.

I don't get what you measure "soul" by then... Those cars are all sporty, drivers cars that let you abuse them and almost feel like an extension of you while driving them.
I mean if the 370 counts, then how is the G37 or Genesis Coupe excluded?
People who don't check their bags on flights. No sir, your entire suitcase is not a "carry-on", and no ma'am, you don't get to carry on a suitcase plus your "purse" that could fit two children in it.

The filipino accent and language is one of the ugliest languages on planet earth. It's grating on the ears to hear, I just can't stand it.
It always sounds like Jawas talking to me. I keep wanting to yell "Hey, what are you trying to push on us?" and demand a new R2 unit. I know its wrong but it would be damn funny to see.

Remember when Harper called Maritimers defeatists? I have an opinion that concept extends across the entire country and that Canada ranks as one of the more jealously ridden G8 countries. I've travelled the world, and I call Canada home, but I've never been to such an advanced country where I see more people crying about successful people than Canada. If a person is rich, they are automatically labelled a selfish ####### by a good portion of our population. Every accomplishment is poo-pooed (Their lucky, their family had money so it's easier to make money, had everything handed them, etc.), and there's always a reason someone has something you don't (Nice car... well he can write that off through his business, they went to university..... I could have to if my parents were better off. etc)
Everywhere I go in this country I hear garbage like this. I even hear it from my own parents. I'm almost to the the point of giving them a very long list as to why they ended where they did in life and why other people were more successful. Christ Canadians even wish for their own companies to fail. The amount of people I hear around this country that say things like I can't wait for "Insert Random Canadian Company Name" blows my mind. It's almost as if being successful in this country is frowned upon.
If someone actually heard a success story, and said in conversation, "Wow, good for him." I think i'd fall out of my chair.

I'm actually just curious.
Cheap looking interiors, bland styling. I hate the way they feel when you drive them.
Japanese and Korean cars are poorly styled, soulless appliances.
I came in here wanting to defend the Japanese, but the only car with a lot of soul I can think of now is the BRZ. Too bad, because I used to be a huge fan. I do still like Mazda though.

Talk to the airlines about their fees for checked bags

The problem is that Phillipino's are basically the nicest people you can find. Hard working, honest and for the most part try to fully integrate into Canada.
Unpopular - I think that the Chinese are basically spread out around the world as a scheme by the Chinese government to spread influence and help them become a super-power.

Yet you continue to use mind bottling, a quote from Will Ferrell, in many of your posts.
:Like i said before i grabbed mind bottling from BlackArcher. I didn't know it was from Will Ferrell since i haven't watched a movie from him since Elf .
I hate dogs! The smaller they get the bigger my distaste grows.
People that treat the dogs like people are sad and pathetic. Get a real kid you scared losers.
I love laughing at people walking their dogs at 6am in the pouring rain and think of them having to bring in that wet stinky dog inside while my kids peacefully sleep.
I think the Flames have a legit shot at winning the division this year.
Yeah but can you put your kids in a cage for 8 hours while you goto work?
I tried it once. It didn't work.

K wait.... compared to what?
I've never sat in a non-luxury domestic that has a better interior then my speed 6.
You can ask Jeremy Clarkson if he thinks my car is "soulless"...
I'd argue that Japanese cars are the most likely to have a "soul".
Most of the german cars over engineered. They feel robotic. Not a bad thing, but I feel zero connection when I drive my friends 335i. Throw it into a corner too fast and there's no drama. It just handles it like it's nothing. Everything on it is perfect. The clutch (if it still has one), the steering, everything is just like you'd expect with a german car. As for the interior, it uses nice materials but it has no flare. It's basic. On top of all of this, they're adapting the double clutch gear boxes faster then the japanese as well which takes away even more of the soul. The higher end german cars are more "soulfull" but so are most +100K cars.
The domestics are utter plastic crap. Their attempts at "soul" come from non-functional hood vents and namining conventions that they try and revive from their hayday. Most of them handle like the titanic and their interiors are straight from the Fisher-Price collection. The only sporty american car that I would call pretty is the new Mustang. Thats one car for the whole damn country.
The Japanese cars are the only ones left that blend decent interiors (although I'm not going to lie, I haven't been impressed with their latest offerings) with performance and still feel connected to the road.
I like the city of Toronto and think it's the most cosmopolitan city in Canada.
Double sinks in a bathroom is unnecessary, as is a house that has 3,500+ square feet.
Far too many people drive trucks that don't need them.
I think keeping the French language as part of Canadian culture is important.
My friend just spent three months salary on an engagement ring, that's insanity to me. So my unpopular opinion I guess would be that people spend too much money on the whole "engagement/wedding" process.

I think that the F-35 is the only fighter that the government should be buying, I also think that the cost spread out over 3 decades is more then reasonable.

Except the people of Toronto don't seem as friendly as they do in Calgary.
I sat with a young wedding planner, flying back from Toronto, and she said it was not unusual for the wealthy to spend $250,000. on a wedding.
No wonder so many young people are so heavily in debt, with all the monster houses they think they should have. I have a theory that whatever living space you have, your brain will automatically adjust to make it comfortable. My parents were quite comforable in a 650 sq ft prefab home.
