I don't watch him regularly, so I don't know, but he says he plays better as a center. Looks that way based on stats and maybe he's also trying to prove that he belongs there because he likes center better.

Wasn't really hitting, one of the goals - shorthanded, he was caught completely, turned the wrong way and the guy blew by and he couldn't catch up. Several others, not clearing the puck out from the front of the net. Just sloppy play all around last night, not just him, the whole team.

Granlund gets an assist in tonight's 4-3 win and extends his point streak to 7 games. He only got a secondary assist in the game but his line (Peltonen-Granlund-Hannula) is getting a lot of goals so it must be working out for them. Ortio with 23 saves.

Maine beating BC 1-0 after 2, this would be crazy if Maine swept them this weekend, has anyone been able to see this game?

Also, Providence up 2-1 on BU, no goals for Jankowski, don't know about assists just getting my info through twitter.

Pretty uncharacteristic of Boston College. Zero goals in their last 5 periods.

No assists. He's just got one shot on net so far.

Uh oh. Gaudreau's in a slump.

That's two games in a row he's been held pointless. Same with Arnold.

Just to be sure the guys we need to either sign or let walk this year are Wortherspoon, Brossoit, Ramage, and Larson correct?

I don't think the new CBA rules apply for players already drafted ... before the new CBA, the 2 year rule for CHLers applied to Euro players as well. So if I'm not mistaken, they have to sign him prior to June 1. Could be wrong on this though.

As far as I know, you are correct. The draft rules that apply to a player are the rules that were in place when he was drafted.

Granlund's point streak ended in the previous game but he got an assist tonight in a 3-2 win. Ortio with just 15 saves.
