60% of sports-related injuries occur in practice rather than games.
Hope it isn't anything too serious.

Sven seems to be battling some kind of Injury every season. He had injuries both years in the dub I believe? Also was hurt this season for a month. Hopefully it is nothing serious

Anytime the player leaves practice and doesn't return is usually a good sign that the injury is more then just a "stinger"
Lets just hope its something that can fade over these next 2 days

Listening to FAN 960, Loubo and Steinberg didn't paint a good picture of the incident. They said that he looked quite laboured in his attempts to get off the ice. Then they said that it could be nothing because they thought Scott Hannan's career was done last year when he got hurt in a game but didn't miss the next game.

He was going to be a 1st line player, until he took an arrow to the knee!

Nenshi will be evaluating Sven before Thursday's game to see if he is fit to play and if he is fit to be a Calgarian.
Also planned is a discussion about the importance of civic engagement, the accessibility of food trucks, and Plan It Calgary.

GOAT!

I'm actually OK with this.
If Hartley (the same guy that coached Tanguay, Hejduk and Drury in their rookie seasons) truly believes Sven needs to spend some time watching the game, then an injury may be the best chance for that to take place. No PR disaster from scratching him, no "cause for concern" in regards to his confidence. Sven on the 4th line isn't going to make or break (or even affect) this club in any way, so we won't even notice him missing.
As long as he comes back having learned whatever Hartley thinks he needs to learn, and is ready to take a place on the top two lines, then I welcome this injury.
(I know it's harsh to say "I welcome this injury" and I'd never wish something bad on Sven, I'm just saying this may be a blessing in disguise for both his career and our current season.)

This is what happens when you play him with 4th liners like Comeau & Jackman, this wouldn't have happened if he was playing on the top two lines, they get to use the better ice.
