While it is something that requires skill, it is definitely not art. You're not creating anything. You're not special.

I think a tip should be something a waiter/waitress should earn and not just expect. I don't get my bonus at work unless I earn it, niether should you.

While I think the gun laws in the US need to be changed, I don't think that alone will solve, or even cut down on the murders and violence that is happening there. That country has way bigger issues than just their gun laws.

Bring back the death penalty! Especially for murderers, rapists, child molesters and drug dealers.

Attack drones are meant to kill people. Deal with it. Occasionally they miss and kill innocent people but that can happen with any kind of weapon. Complaining about some sort of unfair advantage is ridiculous. It's not a game.

The Flames and possibly the NHL in general should have more hiphop/rap played during games. I like rock n roll and metal but I don't need to hear mainly that during the games. Music tastes have changed a lot in the past 20 years but the NHL seems stuck in a time warp. Even the soundtracks on games such as NHL13 are terrible compared to their NFL and NBA counterparts.
Drum and Bass music sounds like robots having sex.
Environmental causes are important to me but only so long as they don't impact the way I want to live my life.

Thing is that tips are usually split amoung servers and kitchen staff. It's not the kitchen staffs fault if the server doesn't refill your drink and equally it's not the servers fault that food was prepared incorrectly or doesn't taste good. It's not fair that one group gets shafted because of the other but that's what happens when people base tips on just the server.
