I think society as a whole is way too sensitve when it comes to polictially correctness , I feel that the first person to cry racist or sexism over a casual remark is actually the racist or sexist one to even have that thought cross their mind (and they are generally not the race or sex that would supposively be offended)

Guys and girls cannot be friends. 100% of the time the guy is thinking about getting into her panties.

Dick Pound saying 1/3rd of the NHL is on PEDs is a lot closer to reality than fans believe

Golf is deadly boring.

Flyfishing is scintillating.

France is awesome.

Oh baby, I miss fishing those Southern Alberta rivers.

If you are not in the trades, you should only own one pair of jeans. They should be the darkest wash possible. If you can afford it, you should invest in a pair of selvedge denim. These will look excellent and last you for at least 2 years of constant wear.

One of the safest places in the world to have a nuclear powerplant is in central alberta. Combined with the fact the world's largest uranium producer is in Saskatchewan we should be going nuclear. Eff you coal!

Property taxes should be closer to rate of inflation.

Canada is already heavily dependent on nuclear power. About half of Ontario's nuclear power comes from nuclear.

Nuclear power is the best option to make the oil sands much more environmentally responsible and dramatically increase yield.

Grown men with pretentious obsessions with fashion and appearance remind me of teenage girls.

Dogs suck, especially the little yappy ones

Halo and Uncharted are the two most over-rated game franchises of all time

The Big Bang Theory is a terrible show

If I see someone driving a jacked up pickup, a Hummer, or smoking in public I automatically think less of them as a person

Gary Bettman has done a very good job as NHL commissioner

Anyone convicted of rape or child molestation should be castrated

Great thread. I will add my unpopular opinions.

Poor people shouldn't have kids.

Hunting sustainable animal populations is more human and environmentally friendly than farming animals or being a vegetarian.

Natural, organic, or artisan foods are all scams.

Every military operation Canada has done since WW2 was not needed.

9/11 wasn't a big deal. The US killed way more innocent people in the years following.

Diamond mines are bad, oilsands are good.

People who drive personal vehicles everyday are bad people.

When an RCMP officer dies in the line or duty he's no more of a hero than a constructor worker who dies in an accident. Same goes for soldiers. Just because you chose a dangerous occupation does not make you a hero. Neither does getting cancer or falling off a horse for that matter.

Remembrance day promotes war.

Fat people are not an oppressed minority. Over 50% of the population is overweight.

People with allergies are just wimps.

Cancer and AIDS are disease, addictions are not.

There's no such thing as ADD.

E-collars are a legitimate training tool for dogs. If more pitbull owners used them we'd see less attacks.

Even if those allergies will kill you?

I do agree, the term "allergy" gets exploited a lot though. No one is allergic to MSG (it's not possible, it's a naturally occuring amino acid combined with sodium. Your body is full of both parts). It always reminds me of elementary school students who try to get out of eating foods they don't like by making false claims of allergies.

Rap music sucks (been said before). It's even worse when you have to sit in a car or a house with people who listen to it constantly on ful blast.

I hate the smell of marijuana (simply can't stand it). So I hope it is never legalized unless users are forced to hang air freshers around their necks.

Beer tastes awful, and makes you feel like crap after you drink it.

King of the Hill had more good seasons than any other animated show (Simpsons included).

Unlike a different poster, I could stand the Canucks winning a lot more than the Oilers.

In Canada everyone should be required to learn English and use it as a first language.

I hate when people talk cars (as long as it has four wheels and runs, who cares about the rest?)

Miikka Kiprusoff is the best Calgary Flame of all-time.

I can't stand smokers (although I am sure many would say the same thing).

I hate tipping, and do whatever I can to get out of it.

This X1000

I know so many decorators that are absolutely uncreative and just use formulaic standard methods and don't try to step outside the boundaries. It's all about feel and thinking outside the box. If you know what you're doing you can use the rough framework of whatever it is and then expand on it to make it unique.
