- the "green" "Eco" movement. I don't care about the environment. If global warming is real that's fantastic, Its to cold here as is.
- I have no problem with Justin Beiber. I don't listen to his music or anything of the genre really. He's young, a Canadian artist, rich, and supposedly banging alot of chicks. Good for him he should enjoy it while be can.
- I don't think Julia Roberts is or ever was very attractive. She's on Sarah Jessica Parker's level of horse face-ness.

Last year I picked up Roberto Luongo as my goalie in a playoff pool. But I think I already got what I deserved...

Scarlett Johansson is a C.H.U.D. Congratulations on having boobs but she's a goddam ogre.
Uma Thurman is at best only half alien life form. She looks like the Toxic Avenger.
Thank for reminding me Nuje, Pearl Jam is terrible.

I don't like Nirvana much. I don't even hate the whole grunge movement. I just think Nirvana weren't very good. I like a few of their songs, but most of them aren't just "meh", but many of them annoy me.

I've been on my own for quite some time, but I see no point in owning a home as a single person. I love my apartment and the ability to call someone to fix stuff when it goes bad. I love the knowledge that if a better apartment came along I'd only have to give my landlord notice and I could leave. I love knowing that if a fantastic job opportunity in another city came up, I wouldn't have to worry about selling a home, just finishing out my lease.
Basically I'm really awful at commitment.
On the baby boomers v. current younger generations argument: wages were lower then, obviously, but wages as a percentage haven't kept up with inflation with regards to education/housing/healthcare costs, at least in the US. Baby boomers are still working, which means that current kids right out of college, regardless of how hard they worked, how high they scored, etc, cannot get jobs, because there are tenured positions being held that are untouchable. Can't get a job without experience, but can't get experience without a job.
The job market is saturated in a way it wasn't 30 years ago.

- Friends and Seinfeld are perhaps the worst TV shows I've ever seen...followed closely by 2-1/2 men and big bang theory
- I actually like taking the bus after work...lets me wind down after work
- have no problems with how much pro athletes get paid...they earned it and we're willing to pay to watch.

Baby boomers faced the same thing - I know I did when I graduated from college. Many times for me it came down to someone being hired with experience as opposed to a grad like me. I tell my niece and nephew the same thing when they complain about the lack of jobs. Every generation had it tough starting out and finding a job to get that valuable experience.

I'd like to see an increase in the GST back to the previous level and an introduction of a provincial sales tax.

I liked my Blackberry better then this 4s, and although they are pretty decent, IPads are nothing compared to a decent laptop.
Trading Jarome would benefit the Flames more then Jarome being a Flame.
The Dome is just fine, so is Rexall, new buildings will have no bearing on these teams fan bases.

Americans are not dumb, they just plain don't care
Freedom of speech doesn't exist
Too many kids are diagnosed as (fill in the blank) by the school system so the schools can receive increased funding

Teachers are overpaid based on the amount of time off they get, and school starts too early in the morning just so they can be done by 2:30.
Nurses are not overworked, and they do a lot of standing around, gossiping and talking about what they did last night
There is nothing wrong with kids playing one or two sports year round instead of playing 5 sports seasonally
