Flames game music still needs a change.

Why are they still playing that brutal goal song (Barbra Streisand) in the dome. It might be the worst goal celebration song in the NHL.

I was so excited to be back in the dome for the first game of the year. When the Flames scored that first goal the place went nuts and then blah, that brutal celebration song started. Just garbage. We need a song that gets the place rocking after a goal not one that kills the celebration.

Take the Rangers goals song for example, MSG is always rocking after a Rangers goal, and everyone chants that song. Maybe in the dome we can all start yelling Barbra Streisand. Sweet!!

I like the goal song, but the pre powerplay song REALLY needs to change. It rarely ever gets to the hard driving part of the song before the puck is dropped so all you every end up hearing is "doodely doodely doodely doodely doodely" over and over.

The goal song is an abortion. Not sure why it's still around. Certainly not for tradition. It's just a weird song that has no place at a hockey game.

Agree. Was shocked with disappointment when I heard the same song for a new seasons goals at home. Needs to change.

I'm watching the Raptors game, their music is great and even though the Raptors have a losing record the fans are really into it. Although i'm not sure the NBA style music would work great in the NHL/Alberta rinks

They seem to rarely up date the tunes year after year. Same songs at the same times in the game. Not every thing needs to change but a refresh would be nice. That said, I think they played Thrift Shop the other night for like 10 seconds.

i'm really chapped that Vancouver gets to have Clutch - Electric Worry as their goal song while we're stuck with Barbara Streisand

this would make a perfect goal song for Calgary IMO (0:43 specifically)

Yeah, I'm ok with them moving away from the Fire/Flames theme ... sometimes you just need to play a good song.

AC/DC is one of the most successful bands in history. It's not just an Alberta thing. What do you suggest?
