What Caramont said. Fotze it's worth upgrading your Pc and/or buying a 360 for this game alone. It's that good.

Pick up the Dark Brotherhood line of quests.. I'm not usually the evil type but I'll be darned if this track of quests aren't EXTREMELY fun and engaging.
Decided not to be a vampire when I was offered
Sometimes I forget what time it is. Once I had a quest to find a guy, so I followed the arrow until I got to a door that was red (meaning I'm not supposed to open it, illegal, whatever). Huh.. Save, then open it, keep going, finally find the guy and he's IN BED SLEEPING. OOPS! He was a guard type and woke up and arrested me for B&E.
I like it that stuff seems to go on without me. I'll be walking along and all of a sudden a guy will run past, then a few seconds later a few guards will follow. "Wonder what he did..."

Yep, Dark Brotherhood quests are the best so far. Best quest line I've done IMO.
They seem to combine everything, finding the target, getting to the target, deciding how to execute, then the rewarding kill.

I'm happy to report that I'm now kicking will-o-wisp arse!
I think me problem before was I never had a decent weapon so the health it drained from me completely compensated for the damage I did to it. A nice new wepaon and 5 /6 hits it's dead.
Also got the Azura's star....the best thing to have in this game.
Also was doing some treasure hunting and ran across a skeleton carrying a Claymore of Fragments...a hit with this wepaon and your weapon completely degrades. Killed three of my weapons...didn't seem to touch my ebony dagger though so he still died. Anything metal was toast. But it is a handy weapon to have in any quests that involves mostly human (or whatever) opponents. A couple of swings with that claymore and your opponents are using fists.

Spill some blood for me brother.
I love the Dark Brotherhood quests. I have just "finished" all the Sanctuary quests and now I am getting my quests from hidden places like under a rock and under a tree. The rewards are awesome. I have not really been doing the main quest and I just keep doing the Dark Brothhood quests. This game is dope! Way better then Morrowind. Can't wait to get off work and play some more.

This game is very good.
But, it is very graphically demanding.
Regular readers of this thread will remember me whining about my GeForce 6600 running Oblivion like crap. So, I broke down, and bought an overclocked 7900GT. Nice Card! But, it still cant run Oblivion with all setting maxed...
In order to get 30-40 FPS in all situations, I can only run about 80% of maxed. Mostly it seems to be the shadows - they are killers. I have played with a few settings presented in some tweaking articles, with mixed results... hopefully Nvidia releases a better driver set.

Got a question for people who have done the Dark Brotherhood Quests. I am now the Listener for the Dark Brotherhood and I wanted to know if there is anymore quests or contracts? or do I sit back and just collect money?

I dunno dude. I've only done 2 DB quests.
Any of you guys stumble upon the walking on water ring, love that thing. I also killed some dude and stole his glass armor. It's damn nice. For some reason I didn't get a bounty for killing him though. It was in a town too and 2 of the dude's fellas saw me do it and chased me.

Collect money.
Also, you get some lackeys to work with, so bring them along next time you want to do an oblivion gate raid.

I got my Lackey's but one got rocked when I was doing a Blades quest. Any recomendations for what other guilds I should join? I have been doing a few theive's guild quests and I just joined the Fighters Guild.

Join them all.
Theives, Fighters, Mages, Dark Brotherhood.
With the Mages guild, you get access when you get into the Arcane University to Spell Making and Magic item making devices. Those really work great and you can augment the armor you wear.
I haven't done the fighters, but with the Thevies when you complete it, you don't get anything special, but the missions are pretty fun and complicated.

What kind of game is this? Is it the online type? Do you play with other people like say Warcraft?
My brother plays Warcraft like some kind of fiend. I think I need to have an intervention.....he took 2 days off work last week to get to level 60 something or other.
