Stempniak has to go the other way in any deal. Ideally it would be JayBow, Stajan and stempniak for Niņo and vishnovsky.

Trust Feaster will investigate all possibilities. The Wang and Snow Show, you just never know, might be a good deal to be had. I could see the Reinhart angle being something that would bang Wang.

In fairness they were both awful for the vast majority of last season as well.

Giordano missed 21 games last year and looked much better after returning. Cammalleri only played 28 games for us last year and put up decent numbers. He was horrible in Montreal last year though

Not really sure how serious some of the proposals on here are but for the most part, the ones I actually read were ridiculous offers and I don't think NYI would even consider replying to Feaster if he were to offer what has been said. Even though he hasn't done anything to prove himself yet, he was still a 5th overall pick and is only 20 years old. If they trade him they're not going to want to take a loss so I think it will end up being a return for players who can make an immediate impact (ie. someone in their prime) or another prospect(s) similar to him.
The whole request in itself is yet another step back for an organization that seems like it hasn't been able to take a step forward in a long time. The Islanders are slowly becoming one of, if not the biggest joke of an organization in the entire NHL.

Some really horrible trade proposals here, its like people just want to throw our junk at them and hope it works.
To get a player like Nino Niederreiter you will have to give up a decent young player in return and most likely a high pick.
While Nino isn't on Turris' level, the trades would most likely be comparable once Nino is moved.

Dreger said on Insider Trading that Snow won't trade Nino short of vast overpayment.

Theres no way NYI gets the return OTT gave up for Turris. No way....
3rd round pick only or a fourth and a prospect not drafted in the last two drafts.

And he shouldn't. He is a real solid player that was put in a bad position last year. Unless the trade is for a young player, I think Snow will want an overpayment.

This would be a heck of a lot easier for the Flames had Niederreiter just stated: "I will only play for the Flames or the Heat if they assign me there. I will not be willing to play for anyone, anywhere else in the world." hehe
It will still be tough to pry him out of NYI. I do think they would bite for Bouwmeester, but Bou won't bite back. Tough to sell him on the NYI. You can pretty much forget ANYONE on the Flames with a NTC or NMC (even if partial). The only players happy to be going there would have been players from there that cheered for that team growing up.
I think they would want Reinhart for sure. Brodie. That might be enough, or they might want a 1st on top of it before they are willing to part with Nino. If I were the Flames, I would be offering:
Reinhart (he is respected for the type of cerebral game he plays, plus Griffin's Bro)
Nemisz (He really might have next to zero value, but he is a big body, young, and flexible)
Ramage (Former captain of the US World Juniors, and just about to turn Pro).
I have a feeling NYI would still look at that package and want more. They will ask for Gaudreau and Brodie, I would bet.
