To get the 15% off yes. It is free to sign up though.

Edit: I see it has changed to one free HD rental now

Really? I just signed up about 2 weeks ago and it was 2. I haven't used either yet, but I'm assuming I would just rent and it would come off my bill as a credit?

Oh and as for NHL Centre Ice, there is going to be a Flames game on almost every other night as it is, so that's already a lot of hockey. Good deal though for the package this season.

It could just be that 3 services gets different benefits. I just copied and pasted that from my account and I have three services.

With 2 services, you only get an extra 25GB of data. Otherwise all the same benefits (I don't have phone with them, so I don't get the distinctive ring either).

If you ever need customer service, the Conceirge Online chat is great too. Virtually instant response, and they've always been able to do anything I wanted.

Yeah. We had 3 with them, but found we never used the home phone, so it seemed like a waste of $15 a month for us. My wife and I use our cells for everything now.

Just chatted with the Shaw concierge people and asked to add Centre Ice.

Quote:
Joanne #6600 (16:41:15):
The price is $49.99 and a 15% discount for being with Shaw Friends. I can't add it now as there is nothing showing yet so the codes to get this done are not available. I will flag your account so the system will add it automatically.

Does anyone know more about it?
The free preview is the same as the start of every season, and they usually do another one mid-season. The rate looks to be discounted, and a good deal for the condensed schedule.

I think most were dropping the GameCenter throw-in that was present in previous years. I found a forum thread from a different site from back in September where people were upset the carriers were all dropping it.

Just got a tweet from Telus... no pricing details yet. All they would say is it's free until the end of the month.

Telus is pretty slow to release details. You'd think we'd hear something in the next day or so, but who knows.

I can't seem to find the Pens/Philly game on my Telus Centre Ice. Can anyone help me out? What channel is it on?

Sure wish HOOT and Tsawwassen were still running their website haha.

Same thing as Shaw. It's listed as the CHI/LAK game. There should be two so just check both channels.
