The monoprice ultraslim hdmi cables are expensive (by monoprice standards) but from now on I will never buy another kind. They are without exaggeration thinner and more flexible than even a usb cable, and will make any setup vastly cleaner. Your poor Apple TV will no longer be lifted up by some heavy ass regular hdmi cord, and you can coil these things up tight such that they're unnoticeable.

Sounds like you are running HDMI from 1 room to another. Just make sure you measure very carefully. It is very easy to underestimate the distance required. For example, from a regular audio stand to the floor you have 3 feet, maybe aother 2 feet to the wall, then at the other end another 5-7 feet depending on where the TV is mounted. That can easily be an extra 10-12 feet you didn't count on.

I'm running from PS3 to TV in the same room, but the outlet the electrician left me with runs from living room down to basement and back up again to the TV. I thought a 12' was long enough but it wasn't even close. Thirty footer should be overkill, but I want to be sure.

I second the monoprice.com suggestion.

I went to monoprice for an hdmi cable a year ago. I've been back several times. Tons o iPhone accessories. I am waiting for a package from them know. Getting iPad stylus X 3, wireless mouse and some screen protectors. About $25 with shipping. They have faster shipping options but I always go with the cheap one, 4-10 days.

Not sure on the price at memory express but at monoprice a 30 ft hdmi is $17 - $47 plus shipping, $4.95.

Some time ago I used a company called Calgary Fusion. They had a large spool of the HDMI cord, and charged much less for it than some of the other companies.

I know you found your cable, but as an FYI, one of the last places you would expect to look is the best source.

Winners... I have picked up 30 ft HDMI cables there for $15. I usually go to Northland Village, because I work across the street. The exact cable I paid $15 for, was $80 at the future shop directly beneath the Winners. 6 footers there are usually 5-7 bucks.

Iphone cases/screen protectors, iPad cases, headphones, tablet mounts, in car phone mounts, phone chargers and HMDI cables are ridiculously cheap at winners. I have found the exact stuff in the Bestbuy and Futureshop in the mall for 3-4X the price. I have flipped a ton of it on ebay too, and doubled my money.

Good to know, thanks. Maybe I'll look there if for whatever reason this 25' isn't long enough.

I'll second what Pylon just said. We bought a real nice felt lined and leather(faux?) wrapped Ipad case for about a 1/3 the retail price at Winners.

The problem I find with Winners is that it is hit and miss. While they typically have better quality, the randomness is worse than somewhere like XS Cargo; or that "Bianca Amour's" place off 58th ave SE. It really is a place where you will discover something, as opposed to somewhere I would recommend going to look to buy something.

It definitely can be hit and miss for sure. However I am at that mall almost every day for lunch so at least once a week I just scoot through the Winners and see what cool gizmo's have come in.

That Bianca Amours place.... I have never seen a dirtier, more disorganized store in my life. When I leave there, I seriously want to bathe in acid. Be careful for counterfeit stuff there as well. They sell a lot of it.
