To start, members of 4chan — an online message board known for its online pranking tactics, or “trolling” — posted a message reading, ”Tweet a bunch of pics of people cutting themselves and claim we did it because Bieber was smoking weed.” Shortly thereafter, 4chan members did just that: using the hashtag #CuttingForBieber, users created fake Twitter accounts and posted fake photos of purported teen girls with slashed up arms claiming their self-harm was a way to stop Bieber from smoking weed (the star was photographed doing just that over the weekend).

This started the whole "#CutForBeiber" hoax that trolls created to get Beiber fans to start cutting themselves to stop him from smoking pot. I really hope Beiber fans aren't stupid enough to believe this crap. And if they actually do start cutting themselves, he's an legal adult and he's allowed to do whatever the #### he wants. Stop making a big deal of it. Snoop Dogg smokes weed every day and i don't see #CutforSnoop anywhere.

Well teen superstars usually go one of two ways, this, or they become huge talents like MJ and I don't see Bieber getting abused by his father so...
Given his age and access to practically unlimited funds, I would be pleasantly shocked if that was all he is into.
I'm not a fan. I actually don't find anything redeeming about his music (nor am I the demographic he is targeting), but it bugs me that people are just waiting and hoping for him to screw up.

I don't get all the hate for this guy. He's not my style musically, but he does have talent. He seems like a good earnest kid, and he's Canadian.
I agree. I can't even name one of his songs or would recognize his music if I heard it, but he seems like a somewhat grounded decent guy, and doesn't come across as particularly arrogant or anything.
