Well, certainly there are advantages to being triple the size, but what exactly rubbed you the wrong way about Victoria?

Driving in and around that place drove me nuts.

Living anywhere in Ontario - No Thanks.

There are a lot of genuine gripes about life in Victoria, but having lived there for 7 years and here for 5, I can call bull#### on driving being one of the unpleasant things. There is no genuine rush hour, the Pat Bay is well maintained, no real "core" means no one part of downtown is ever too gridlocked, and no trip is (unlike the airdrie/calgary joke) realistically ever more than about 20 minutes.

I'd take old pokey Victoria drivers over the insanity on the roads in Calgary (or Vancouver, which is the worst) any day.

I don't think that's a common complaint. In fact, I don't think I've ever heard that.

Maybe if you live or work in Langford...but that's not Victoria.

Well if you don't know your way around, the streets constantly changing names can be a little confusing, but you get used to it.

To me Victoria 1. Retirees 2. Uni Kids

but the weather is good - way better than Vancouver
