In my opinion the Lakers won in spite of Kobe and Howard last night.

Neither played a good game, Kobe did make some clutch shots down the stretch but his shot selection was horrendous. Howard just doesn't have that explosiveness that made him so good prior to the injury.

The 4th quarter comeback was on the back of Nash, Gasol, MWP, and Meeks. However it's a good sign to be able to win a tight game when your two superstars have an off game.

I just like that one team is wearing green and one team is wearing black.

It doesn't have to be white all the time

The Miami Heat should change their name to the Miami referees, or something to that effect. What an embarrassing end to the game with 2 fouls clear as day committed. Ain't funny too that LeBron James went something like 254 minutes without committing a foul up until day.

The NBA would be so much better to watch if the last two minutes weren't unbearable. The timeouts and resulting constant commercial breaks just make it awful.

The last 2 minutes are the only part that is interesting because the rest of the game is either a blowout or pointless

Why post that if you don't like basketball.

I don't dislike basketball, I used to play it. I just think that the last ~2 minutes of NBA games are the only watchable parts but it's brutal how after every possession in the last 2 mins is a 30 second commercial break

It's unbearable when they foul free throw timeout commercial. The last 2 minutes last 30 minutes it feels like

I have to say i'm really enjoying the NBA so far this year. I thought it would be hard for me to get into but it hasen't been so far. But i have to say, those Christmas jerseys where pretty damn ugly.

Other then the Denver nuggets every jersey was ugly and unreadable. Clippers and Knicks the worst.

Hopefully the Lakers can win one tonight on my birthday.

After starting the year 11-4. Now losers of 10 of their last 13, Avery Johnson was fired, and assistant coach P.J. Carlesimo promoted to interim head coach.

Next 5 games could be the Lakers season. Clippers, Nuggets, Rockets, Spurs, Thunder. Could be 0-5 right there.

This replay system is ridiculous. The last two minutes stretch out to 15 now. Paul hits a jumper which might just finish off the Lakers here.

Lakers suck and Gasol is terrible. 1-6 from the field. How the hell does a guy with go from being a consistent 50% shooter to a 41% shooter this year? You can say that it's D'antoni's system with him shooting threes but the guy was bricking god damn layups a foot away from the rim. How the mighty has fallen. Kobe's back is going to be broken by the end of the year carrying these guys if they continue like this.

EDIT: Reading the Lakers forum right now is comedy gold.
