You're comparison isn't accurate.

A closer comparison would be that you want to be with someone who has never watched sports in the past, but will watch sports with you. If she watched sports prior to your relationship, that's a deal breaker.

Well.. I don't want to be with a woman who has been with a lot of men. It would cause me great distress. Does it really matter if thats rational or if I can prove that its wrong to have slept with lots of people. How does one prove something is right or wrong anyway? Isn't it kind of a matter of personal opinion.

When I refuse to date someone who doesn't like sports (or only likes Basketball/Baseball) I don't paint them all with a black brush and say things like they should be 'tossed in the trash where they belong'. Just because you don't agree with someone's decisions doesn't make them a bad person, they're just not the person for you...which is fine. It's your judgement of them that's casting you in a bad light.

Well I'm sure you have your own criteria for what is right or wrong, but it just seems that you're creating your own distress out of nothing. I do tend to like incorporating reason and logic into my morals, but for some people pure emotion and gut instinct are good enough.

Anyways, I can give you the rational "get out of jail free" card, which would be that you value sex on a more intimate and emotional level, and not as purely physical, and you want to make sure whoever your with is on the same page. To you, this would seem unlikely in a person who has a high number of sexual partners, because it seems implausible that they would be able to form such a high quantity of emotionally intimate relationships over short periods of time. Am I on the right track?
