Then maybe you're not in her target demographic. Plenty of dudes feel less chaste, and view sex more as pleasure than as some kind of spiritual or deeply personal act that can only be shared with your life-partner blah blah.

I would never pay that much for sex, but I would definitely have been ok with losing my virginity for that much money. Sadly, women don't pay to have sex with teenagers for 23 seconds.

You're right, i'm not in her demographic and clearly she's in it for selfish reasons like the person bidding for her virginity. It's my opinion of course, but I think that sometime in the future she may look back and regret what she has done.

Plenty of women feel that way too. Thank god.
I see nothing wrong with two people making each other feel good, whether physically or financially, without any plans for something lasting, as long as they both know what they're getting into.
This girl may eventually regret making this public because now she'll always be known as the girl who sold her virginity, but I think a whole lot of people would trade in their first time for $35k. If a woman had been willing to pay me that, I know would have.

No you are reading it correct. Listen, I am not a fan of her idea, but I think it is incorrect to say the reasons are selfish.
I would hazard a guess that a low income community in Brazil is not the easiest place to care for an elderly lady that had a stroke.
