Won my championship despite 1.2 and 1.3 point efforts from Wallace and Hernandez. Thank you Jamal Charles and Eric Decker for absolutely lighting it up. And despite not having his best performance, AP big shout out you carried my team for the majority of the year.

Does anyone else play in a league where the championship format is 2 week playoffs with the championship week being in week 17?

Thats what they do in my 12 team league and I'm up 12 points going into week 2 of the final matchup. But I have guys like Luck, Vick Ballard, and Ray Rice who likely get pulled early because their teams really have nothing to gain by playing them. The fact that the Texans need to win that game is going to kill me. My opponent has the likes of Cam Newton, and Adrian Peterson, playing against teams they can light up. So I think I'll suffer a week 17 rest week defeat. Granted the fact that my team has no depth is a reason why I'm dead in the water.

Funny thing, of the three teams I ran in money leagues this year, the one which was the worst ended up in the finals, and I could only muster up third place in my other two leagues. Somehow a team with Brees, Luck, V.Jackson, M.Williams, M.Crabtree, Ray Rice, Vick Ballard, and Jason Witten, Denver defence, and an assortment of matchup kickers from the waiver wire made the finals. Basically moves to trade DeMarco Murray and Sam Bradford for Vincent Jackson, Tony Romo, and Jason Witten, another one of Roethlisberger for Andrew Luck, than a subsequent deal of Romo and Ryan Matthews for Ray Rice and Christian Ponder made at the right times allowed me to stay alive this long. Even trading Victor Cruz during the Giants bye week for Mike Williams was a move that helped me out a lot too.

Whereas teams with guys like Rogers, Charles, Peterson, Gronkowski...eventually died out on me somewhere.

Woohoo! Won my 4th consecutive fantasy football league.

Can't wait for next year. I'm down for a spot on one of CP's leagues.

Yay, I won my fantasy title in the two week playoff thanks to Drew Brees and Michael Crabtree. Three leagues, finished third in two of them and won this one, overall not a bad season. Of the 16 players I originally drafted on my championship team...only Brees and Crabtree stayed on my roster all year long. Goes to show that you don't give up because of a bad draft.
