I'd rather face Dallas than Washington. Romo is the NFL playoffs version of Luongo, you want to play against him.

sadly they arent laying down, their defense is just that soft and weak... how do you make Ponder look like an elite QB? pathetic..... i am glad to see da bears eliminated though

I think Washington is a better matchup for Seattle. Washington's secondary is beyond awful and the Seahawks have the speed on defense to contain RGIII. But Seattle should beat either team.

everyone know hse is getting the ball and he is still a beast... great player indeed. Eric D is breathing a sigh of relief right now... that game goes nto OT and the record falls on the first or second run.. the Pack defense is so soft, cant see them go anywhere even though they have the best QB

A playoff game is HUGE! What's so great about Green Bay, the Vikings can beat them next week.

Not an AP fan but he deserves it, getting a team with Ponder as your QB into the playoffs is no small feat, the broncos with an average QB win the weak AFC west..... but Manning is the NFL golden boy, so i think he wins it

Crap. Well that sucks.

Will be an interesting offseason in Chicago. Lovie's job is most definitely on the line and it will be impossible to ignore the needs at offensive line for a third straight season.

I also think if you purposely miss a FG to break a record, it taints the record.
Gotta do it in normal conditions. That's what people remember.

Fox's player of the week. Luck? Peterson? No, Eli Manning of course.
Give me a break.

I can't believe people are seriously saying they should have missed the FG. Anything can happen in the playoffs. A win to go to the playoffs is much more important then the record. Peterson obviously wanted both but I think he would honestly tell you that he would rather then the record.

good to see the jets lose yet again with yet again another poor performance from "buttfumble" Sanchez.... i think one of the most underrated players in the league has to be CJ Spiller, he makes plays and has great wheels....

Tonights game should be fun. I think the Cowboys actually perform better on the road than at home and Romo's been playing out of his mind the last 4 weeks.

RGIII's first really big game. How will he fare? Will it be a Thanksgiving repeat?

Agreed. Saying an individual record is more important than getting your team into the tournament and a chance at the Superbowl is a loser mentality.

I mean I'm saying I'd rather have the record based on the assumption the Packers will win next week. The Vikings will not play as well next week without that crowd, the Packers will probably play about as well. AP is gonna need a mega performance next week, 250+ for them to win.

Edit: Especially since I think sadly AP needed the record to beat Peyton for MVP. I think Peyton will win that.

if the great Dom Capers cant get his d to figure out Ponder and get beat twice in a row, he should be fired. Ponder made some good throws but he still sucks.....
