HD's very Great news!!!
I am currently sitting in the hospital with my brand new baby girl in one arm while typing this post with the other.
Fiona Elizabeth Joy Fawcett was born Dec 28th at 3:42pm. She was 6lbs 6oz and 19 inches long. Mommy and Daughter are doing great. Daddy is really tired, but super happy! My son Gabriel is really excited to finally be a big brother.
Some people may not know my history and that we have previously lost two children. If you'd like you can read about that at the below link. Warning it is really sad, however I would like to thank CP again for all of the great support. I still appreciate it each and every day.

With our previous issues in mind Fiona was delivered via a Caesarian section at 36 weeks (so 4 weeks early). Even though she was premature she is doing fantastic.
I wanted to start this thread as a way to both show off my new daughter but to also say thanks for the support I received from this great online community. As a bonus, in celebration of her birth the NHL submitted the proposal that will finally end this lockout.

CONGRATS HD! Our little guy was about the same size and weight (6 pound, 6.2 oz and 24 inches long). He was 5 weeks early, if you remember.
Congratulations again!
ps. Mrs. Red-Mile-DJ said "awww..." when she saw the pic with the Flames hat.
